Scope and Content Dun at Leccamore, Luing, Argyll and Bute The dun at Leccamore on Luing is both well preserved and contains a number of unusual features. It is built on the summit of a long ridge and is defended by an outer wall, and, to the N, two rock-cut ditches. This is a view of the outer face of the wall of the dun. Though the wall is partly tumbled down and some of the stones seen here rather askew, it does give a reasonable idea of how good the original facing would have been.
