Scope and Content Dun at Leccamore, Luing, Argyll and Bute The dun at Leccamore on Luing is both well preserved and contains a number of unusual features. It is built on the summit of a long ridge and is defended by an outer wall, and, to the N, two rock-cut ditches. This is a view of one of the entrance passage leading into the dun. The passage is now unroofed. The stone door jambs for holding the wooden door in place can still be seen. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
