Scope and Content Cairn at Learable Hill, Sutherland, Highland A number of prehistoric monuments can be found on the flat southern part of Learable Hill. These include a standing stone which was reused in Early Christian times, clearance cairns, a burial cairn and stone rows. This is an aerial view of the burial cairn. It is rather disturbed but the stone kerb is visible. The centre has been dug into and the tipped-up stone slab is probably the capstone for the short cist grave inside.
