Scope and Content Dun at Leccamore, Luing, Argyll and Bute The dun at Leccamore on Luing is both well preserved and contains a number of unusual features. It is built on the summit of a long ridge and is defended by an outer wall, and, to the north, two rock-cut ditches. This is a view of the dun showing its location on top of a ridge. One of the two entrances can be seen in the middle of the wall. Lower down the slope are the remains of the outer defences. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
