Scope and Content Dun at Leccamore, Luing, Argyll and Bute The dun at Leccamore on Luing is both well preserved and contains a number of unusual features. It is built on the summit of a long ridge and is defended by an outer wall, and, to the N, two rock-cut ditches. This is a view of the dun. It is unusual in that it had two entrances. One of these was over 2 m high and reused a cup-marked stone. The other is less well preserved, but has two cells leading from it. One of these has a staircase. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
