Scope and Content Unenclosed settlement at Normangill Rig, South Lanarkshire The settlement is one of several Bronze Age timber house settlements which were grouped in the valleys of Camps Water, Midlock Water and the Upper Clyde. There are fourteen stone mounds, which may be burial cairns, nearby. This is a view of the settlement site. There are the remains of five platforms which would have supported the houses. They were levelled by digging into the slope. Entrances to the houses were all to the SE. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
