Scope and Content Seafield Arms on Cullen Town Hall, Aberdeenshire Cullen Town Hall was built for new town of Cullen which was begun in 1821. It was paid for by the Seafield estate. The architect designed many of the local buildings, but he made the Town Hall stand out by making it more sophisticated than the rest. The Seafield arms are displayed above the windows of the first-floor council chamber. This heraldic plaque probably came from the gateway at Cullen House. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
