Scope and Content Cup-and-ring markings at Drumtroddan, Dumfries and Galloway The cup-and-ring markings are found on the exposed surfaces of two rock outcrops SW of Wigtown. They are behind a railing in an open field. A further cup-and-ring mark is on a stone 250 m SSW of the farm. This view of the rocks show some of the markings. These include cup-marks, cup-and ring-marks and some connecting lines. Some examples of the rings have gaps in them. The largest ring in 0.4 m in diameter. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
