Scope and Content Pre-restoration view of south house of 443-449 Sailor's Walk, Kirkcaldy, Fife 443-449 Sailor's Walk was built in the 17th century as two houses, each of T-shaped plan. They were extensively repaired in 1954-9 under National Trust ownership. The south house (left) is the larger of the two. The spout on the left hand corner shows where the top of the wall originally came to. Its upper floors project on prominent brackets or consoles. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
