Scope and Content Symbol stone known as Rhynie 6 at Rhynie Old Churchyard, Rhynie, Aberdeenshire Rhynie 6 is one of three symbol stones now within the kirkyard, and one of eight found in the overall area. These may have been centred on the Craw Stane. It was found within the foundations of the kirk itself. There are three symbols carved on this fragment of stone. There is a vertical double-disc and Z-rod, a plain crescent and V-rod and a mirror. The mirror has a twin-bossed bar for its handle. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
