Scope and Content Symbol stone at Logie Elphinstone, Aberdeenshire This symbol stone was found with two others on the Moor of Carden. All three now stand in the grounds of the ruined Logie House. They originally said to have stood inside or next to a stone circle. This is a view of the stone. Two symbols are carved on the W face. These are a crescent and V-rod which lies over a double-disc. The bar joining the discs has convex sides, though it is decorated with a convex-sided bar inside. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
