Scope and Content Symbol stone at Logie Elphinstone, Aberdeenshire This symbol stone was found with two others on the Moor of Carden. All three now stand in the grounds of the ruined Logie House. They originally said to have stood inside or next to a stone circle. This is a view of the stone. There are two symbols carved on the N face. At the top is a Pictish Beast. It faces right though only its shoulder is decorated with scroll-work. Below is a basic crescent and V-rod. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
