Scope and Content Symbol stone from Kinellar, Aberdeenshire This symbol stone is built into the inside wall of the porch at Kinellar Church. It was originally found in the church's foundations.. This is a drawing of the stone which appeared in John Stuart's 1856 publication 'The Sculptured Stones of Scotland'. The stone is carved with a disc, decorated with three smaller discs inside it, and a crescent and V-rod. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
