Scope and Content Vestibule inside Kintore Town-house, Aberdeenshire Kintore Town-house is said to have been begun in 1737 and completed ten years later. A north-west wing was added around 1800, perhaps by a local mason. The wooden ladder leads into the belfry. Inscriptions on the clock-machinery record its donation by the 19th Earl Marischal, and those on the bell that it was made for the parish church in 1702 by Albert Gely.
