Scope and Content Contents include the report of excavations at Ackergill Mound (ND35SW 13) and the discovery on that site of bones, flints, an arrowhead and an inscribed piece of sandstone (small sketch of the latter is attached to the letter). The letter also contains a report of the investigation of 3 cists and a small burial mound on Ackergill Links (ND35SW 12). Included are 2 photographs of cist 4, CA/628-9. Also included are 2 photographs CA/630-1 of Elsay.
