Scope and Content A castellated mansion house in Scottish baronial style with climbing plants and an engraved plaque on the walls, and a ruined tower house in the grounds. There is a flagpole on the roof. The sea is seen in the background. Keiss Castle is sited on Sinclair's Bay. It was owned by F T Barry, M P, in the late 19th century. The older keep is the remains of a feudal tower.
