Scope and Content The crest of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board, with its motto "Neart nan Gleann" (Power of the Glens), 1951. Photographed at Grudie Bridge Power station, built as part of the Conon Hydro-Electric scheme. Grudie Bridge was commissioned in 1951 and has an operating capacity of 19 MWs.
