Scope and Content View of Grudie Bridge Power station whose tailrace flows into the west end of Loch Luichart. Over the entrance is the crest of the North of Scotland Hydro-Electric Board, with its motto "Neart nan Gleann" (Power of the Glens), 1951. The power station was built as part of the Conon Hydro-Electric scheme, commissioned in 1951 and has an operating capacity of 19 MWs.
