Administrative History Robert Fraser was at the time employed by James Williamson and Partners, Consulting Civil Engineers, as a Graduate Engineer, becoming a Chartered Engineer by the end of his involvement. He had a very varied and interesting career, eventually retiring in March 1996 from the post of Director of Water and Drainage Services for Borders Regional Council. Information from Robert Fraser.
