Scope and Content Ground-floor entrance lobby, Viewfield House, Viewfield Terrace, Dunfermline, Fife Viewfield House was built in about 1810 and extended to the rear in around 1850. As always, the entrance-lobby is designed to make a good first impression. Like the other main ground-floor rooms, it is richly decorated with plaster moulding and panelling. The semicircular window over the door is called a fanlight. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
