Scope and Content Fire Station, Carnegie Drive, Dunfermline, Fife The Fire Station in Carnegie Drive was built by James Shearer in 1934-6. The burgh arms are displayed over the main pedestrian entrance. To the right are three garage doors for the fire engines. Above, the brick-built balcony is decorated with pinnacles.
