AL 39/17

Description Extract from Sir Walter Scott’s ‘Lay of the Last Minstrel’ with introduction by John Britton

Date c. 1846

Collection Collection of papers relating to Rosslyn Chapel, Midlothian, Scotland

Catalogue Number AL 39/17

Category Manuscripts

Copies SC 2573977, SC 2573975

Scope and Content The excerpt has been copied by Britton’s secretary who wrongly attributed the text to Sir Walter Scott’s poem ‘The Lady of the Lake’.
