Scope and Content Broch at Dun na Maigh, Sutherland, Highland Dun na Maigh is built on a rocky knoll overlooking the Kyle of Tongue. It has a clear view over the estuary and hills on either side. The remains of outer defences can be seen on the southern slope. This is a view of the collapsed broch. The lintels and doorchecks of the entrance can be seen on the E side. The remains of at least two cells can be made out inside along with a staircase. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
