Scope and Content Kippering house, Albert Street, Wick, Highland The kippering-house on Albert Street in Wick is typical of its type. Though not well preserved, it does have a good example of a kipper-kiln where herrings were smoked to turn them into kippers. The kippering kilns are contained in the building on the left.
