IN 1618

Description General view of scullery

Date 1972

Catalogue Number IN 1618

Category Photographs and Off-line Digital Images

Scope and Content Scullery in dairy at Guisachan, Tomich, Highland The ornamental dairy at Guisachan in Tomich was probably built around 1870 during the time the Guisachan estate belonged to Dudley Marjoribanks, afterwards Baron Tweedmouth of Edington. The scullery was where the dairy implements and utensils were washed. It still contains original tools and equipment but, unlike the milk-room, has no ornamental features.
