Scope and Content Linked to Ian G Lindsay however this may be from a different collection (SNBR Accession, Box 47, no. 5). The Ark, The Cross, Culross, Fife The Ark probably dates from the 17th century and is said at some time to have served as a seaman's hostel. By the 1930s it was a 'mere shell'. However, it has since been restored and painted. This pre-restoration photograph shows the corner of The Ark from The Cross. Mid Causeway runs off to the right, whilst to the left is Little Causeway.
