Scope and Content Free North Church of Scotland, Bank Street, Inverness The Free North Church of Scotland was built in 1890-3 to designs by architects Ross and MacBeth. Grey stone was used for the construction. This contrasts with the pink sandstone masonry of much of the rest of the buildings of Inverness. The short corner tower on the right contains a staircase.
