Scope and Content Right-hand mosaic on Academy Street frontage of Rose Street Foundry Office, 96-104 Academy Street, Inverness, Highland Rose Street Foundry Office was built in 1893 to plans by Ross and MacBeth. The building is remarkable for its mosaics depicting foundrymen at work. This mosaic in the arch above the right-hand window of the Academy Street frontage depicts two blacksmiths taking it in turns to hammer wrought-iron on an anvil. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
