Scope and Content A collection of photographic copies from a sketchbook by Janet Stewart of Ardwell dated 1833 with sketches of country houses and landscapes including: Eglinton Castle, Ayrshire; Belton House and Spott House in East Lothian; Arbigland House, Barholm House and Southwick House, Kirkcudbrightshire; Finlarig Castle, Ossian's Hall and Rumbling Bridge, Perthshire; Scotstoun House, Renfrewshire; and Glasserton House, Castlewigg House, Physgill House, Lochryan House, Lochnaw Castle and Monreith House, Wigtownshire.
