Scope and Content Photographic copies of a book of plans of farms and other buildings, including Floors Castle and a race stand, on the Roxburghe estate, dating from 1826 to 1837. The plans appear to be a mixture of survey drawings and designs for farmhouses and offices to be built. The set is unusual in that includes drawings for thatched cottages. Many of the drawings are finished with colour wash, but others are still in pencil, with annotations that have been removed from those that are finished.

Archive History Lent by the Roxburgh Estate for copying by RCAHMS as a Survey of a Private Collection, 1999, and accessioned as Acc No 1999/230. Previously catalogued as Collection 262/58.
