Scope and Content This collection of photographs was undertaken in 1996 as a personal project by John Edward Cushion 1938-2019 formerly of North Walsham, Norfolk, latterly of Bromley, Kent. His interest started with pre-1700 Manor Houses and Romanesque architectural features in churches, but expanded with time. This collection is donated by his surviving siblings, Joan Runham and Brian Cushion 2020.
System of Arrangement The collection has not yet been fully catalogued.
Access Conditions Open, but note that access may be subject to provisions outlined in the Data Protection Act and conservation requirements. Please contact the archive to confirm access in advance of a visit.
Administrative History Gifted by the late Mr Cushion's brother, Brian Cushion, in December 2020. Receipt confirmed 27 January 2021 and accessioned as Acc No 2021/1.
