Scope and Content Moniack Castle is amongst the trees near the top of the photograph. It was built in 1580 and in 1978 a winery was opened, producing a range of wines including silver birch, rowanberry and elderberry. A range of liqueurs and jellies was later added. Wester Moniack Farm can be seen below the castle. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
