Scope and Content The image gives a view of the existing inland settlement around the Balblair Ferry Inn (now a private house) and, on the shoreline, Inverbreakie Pier, the ferry point for the crossing to Invergordon. The pier is visible on this image halfway along the shore, with prominent white yacht masts. Beyond is the coastal village of Balblair at Newhall Point.
