Scope and Content The photo is focussed on the farmstead of Corrachie on the Black Isle, with the plantation forest of Ord Hill in the foreground. Beyond Corrachie, in a scatter of trees, lies the site of Lochala Farmhouse and Steading, now demolished. To the L of the A832 road on the L of the photo, just above centre, is the white West Lodge of Rosehaugh House. The site of this magnificent building, demolished in 1959, lies just off the top L of the photo. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
