Scope and Content Kinkell Castle is a 16c Z-plan tower house owned originally by the MacKenzies of Gairloch. It fell into disrepair and was restored from 1966 by Gerald Laing, an English sculptor with American influences, as a residence. The A835 runs close by. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
