Scope and Content To the right by the shore line is Phopachy house, a substantial residential property, to the west is a large L shaped building, formerly the stables. There is a landing place. In the centre of the photo is the site of Farnaway Church Kirkton. c. 1681. All that remains is a short length of rubble wall within the graveyard. Rev W Jolly noted 2 cupmarked stones but a NOSAS visit in 2019 found no trace. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
