Scope and Content The image shows part of the main settlement at Urchany, called Claiginn on old estate maps. The remains of three dwellings are clearly seen, although there are less conspicuous remains here, identified during an extensive survey of the area by North of Scotland Archaeological Society in 2015. The track on the R leads from Strath Sgitheach Orrin, through Glen Goibhre, and ends at Struy in Strathglass (off the top of the photo).
