Scope and Content The image is centred on the ruins of the main settlement at Urchany, called Claiginn on old estate maps. The remains of an enclosure and three dwellings are clearly seen, although there are less conspicuous remains here, identified during an extensive survey of the area by North of Scotland Archaeological Society in 2015. At middle L is the mound of a recently discovered and now scheduled Bronze Age bowl barrow. The track on the R leads from Strath Sgitheach Orrin, through Glen Goibhre, and ends at Struy in Strathglass. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
