Scope and Content At centre of this image is the farm of Cluanie at Teanassie. The image shows the croftlands of Breakachy, Farley, Leanassie and Teanassie west of Beauly. Loch nam Bonnach is at the top middle, Loch nan Eun is top L. This land was settled from earliest times, and represents Chisholm land, with Fraser land towards the top. The Chisholm land was extensively cleared about 1800. There are numerous farmhouses recorded on the archaeological record, and the site of a bloomery in the woodland just L of centre.
