Scope and Content This is a panoramic view of the Belladrum estate. Belladrum Farm is at left of centre and the area reflects the landscape of a C19 estate. It is the venue for the annual Tartan Heart Music festival. The site of Belladrum House is right of centre with the Italian gardens to its right. Belladrum House was built in 1835 but demolished in the 1950s and the ruins partially restored in 2009. There is a chambered cairn in the ploughed field on the right and in the field at lower right a metal detectorist discovered two coin hoards. The area was excavated in 2012 and 2014. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
