Scope and Content In this view of Lochardil, the Primary School, opened in 1964, is at lower centre and the Lochardil House Hotel is to its left. Lochardil House was built in 1876-78 and became a hotel in 1956. Culduthel House, a late C18 manor house and once part of Culduthel Hospital but now converted into flats, can just be identified among the trees at upper right. The Gaelic Primary School, established in 1992 in Central Primary School, is at top right. It moved to this custom-built building in 2007. Asda, opened in 2012, is at centre top. MacDonald Park is left of centre. The Southern Distributor Road runs from top left to top right. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
