Scope and Content This wide view focuses on the university campus and shows the main building with landscaping. UHI Project was created in 1992, comprising 13 Colleges of Further Education in Highland, Moray and Perthshire and in 2010 it was decided to establish a campus on a site at Beechwood Farm. In 2011 UHI was awarded university status as the University of the Highlands and Islands and the campus building was opened in 2015. Investigation ahead of development identified prehistoric remains. Raigmore Hospital is above the campus and Inverness Retail Park at Wester Seafield is at bottom right. Inshes Retail Park is at centre left.
