Scope and Content A very close view of Thomas Telford's canal E of Dingwall. This canal opened in 1819 but was not a commercial success. It ceased to be used by 1889, partly overtaken by the railway that reached Dingwall in 1863. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
