Scope and Content A general view with Ross County Football Ground below centre and Thomas Telford's canal to its right. Following the road to the left of the football ground towards the town centre, the first cluster of buildings on the right hand side of the road includes the Drill Hall and in the fields to the right rifle ranges. Above the Drill Hall the 19th century Memorial Hospital, Isolation Wing and Lodge. The final buildings on the right before the railway bridge are the 19th century Courthouse, Prison and Police Station. Beyond the bridge the spire of the Free Church stands out to the left.
