Scope and Content The railway station is in the L foreground. Friar's bridge top right, built in 1984, carries the A82 Inverness ring road over the river Ness. The suspension foot bridge 1881 is top left, beside it is the Old high Kirk, 1770 and the Free North Church 1890s. The tall building behind the Old High Kirk is the Friar's Lane former telephone exchange. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
