Scope and Content Close view of the Fabrication Yard at Nigg which was opened in 1972 and had one of the largest dry docks in Europe for the construction of North Sea oil platforms. There are the remains of saltings in the dry dock. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
