Scope and Content Avoch is a former fishing village thriving on the herring fishing. The harbour visible in the photo, was built by Telford in 1813-15.Also visible is Avoch parish Church. There was a possible drove road leading up the hill. There are too many Canmore and HER references to list of buildings in the village.
