Scope and Content The photo shows the roadwork development being undertaken in 2012 in anticipation of the development of the large Beechwood site on the eastern fringe of Inverness. Off the bottom L of the photo would be the construction of the new UHI campus. The A9 goes from mid R to middle top. The old Culloden Road goes from mid R to top L. Simpsons Garden Centre is top L. Castlehill putative enclosure is in the fields to its R. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
