Scope and Content Airfield was originally for WW2 and linked to Boan's flying boat base. The narrow strip means a curiously intersecting 12 degree difference in runway direction. Beyond the airstrip is the Moss of Achnacree, a raised beach with kettlehole lochs some 20m above sea level with significant archaeological remains from Bronze and Iron Age including an earthworks, nine burial cairns and two chambered cairns. Loch Etive is in the distance. Title and Scope & Content contributed by North of Scotland Archaeological Society (2021).
