Scope and Content Fearn military airfield, disused, is in the centre of the photo, and Balintore to the right. The airfield was in use during WW2, runways and some buildings are still standing, including the RNAS 4 storey control tower. Canmore and HER have references to Loans of Rariche farmstead, shown on the Ist edition OS at the S edge of the airfield. In the foreground of the photo, the white building at the L edge of a line of trees, is the Old Storehouse at Ankerville.
